Challenge Questions

Hey guys

We are coming close to the end of the first challenge and the questions are mounting:

1. How do I submit my entry to the challenge?
2. How do I get charts to you?
3. How do I know if I have won?

We still have time before the end of the month but here’s what I am going to do. In the first few day of Jan 09 I will send out an email to everyone who registered. In that email I will give you a web-page where you can answer a few questions:

Name -
Demo or Live account -
Percentage gained -
Have you read the rules and completed at least 10 trades -
Country -
Tel number -
Email address -

You see there’s no point in submitting charts and explanations until you know you are one of the finalists.

I will contact the finalist to make arrangements to verify there results.

Only then will I ask for charts and an explanations. After that, I will make arrangements for payment and then announce the winners.

A few people have sent me their login details of their demo accounts. For the time being please don’t send me login details. Wait until I contact you. I will keep you posted on this blog, so check back here each day.

I didn\’t find answer on your web: Can I make withdrawal from live account and still qualified for your competition? Or, I can\’t make withdrawal at all till the end of month when I want to compete for your award? Thank you.

    Hi Mark,

i just submit my trading performance for the April Surefire Trading Challenge

actually i just found my own “Holy Grail” on 17 April 2009, from that time till the cloasing date of trading challenge its was 697.07% of gain.
( my captial balance that date is 99.xxxxusd from starting balance 255.89usd of 1st April )

can you just calculate on that date ( 17 April till the end of the closing date?

    Thanks

      Hi Cassianus,

That’s a tricky one, but we can work with you against your trading statement’s to verify the percentage gained should you finish in the top positions. I can’t say for certain right now without looking at your statements but we will need to go through the verification process first and once we reach this stage we can then determine the percentage gain.

      Best regards
      Wesley

      Hi Cassianus,

Thanks for submitting your results. I just checked the system and we’ve received your results. We’ll be getting in touch with the top 10 in both the live an demo account sections over the next few days so if you do not receive a reply don’t be discouraged.

We usually go through this process a few times before the top 5 are finalized. There are always disqualifications for a number of reasons which means traders in the lower positions can still move up the ranks. When this happens we’ll get in touch with those that move up the tanks either via email or the contact numbers submitted that’s why it’s so important that all the details submitted are accurate.

It’s still early days but the leader board is an excellent way to tell where you stand in the challenge so check back often to see if there are any changes and it should give you a good idea of whether you can expect a call or an email from us soon. Hope that helps! :)

      Best regards
      Wesley

You know it might be 1000% that wins this time and 50%
    next time.

I am going to do my best to get as much info from the guys as possible. It’s a Little hard with some of them as I know their English is not good but I will try.

Thanks for the effort, this is, and will be a very interesting proccess to watch. I am sorry I did not have anything to offer for an entry, at least nothing competative, or comparable. However, this is a great incentive.

I am eagerly awaiting descriptions of the top trading systems, and perhaps even interviews with some of the top contenders. Something similar to what mql4 does with its automated trading championships.

Again, thanks for all the time and effort.

  10. Mark says:

Sorry there must be 10 trades. The next challenge
starts on February the 1st. It would be great to see
    you in that one.

I just have to stick to the rules, especially until we
    find out feet.

    Hi Lym

Good question. If you were in a trade at the start of
the month, we need to calculate what your ending
equity was at midnight Sunday 30th Nov 08.

Normally with most Forex brokers you can just pull a
report from any dates you like. For example, you could
pull a report from the 1st to the 30th Nov, which would
give you a total of your equity. That total would be
your starting capital. You could probably pull a report
for the 1st Dec which would also give you a starting
    equity for Dec.

If you were not in a trade, then it’s easy. Just pull a
report for the 1st to the 31st Dec and that should have
all the details we need. Starting equity and ending
    equity.

So in other words, it doesn’t matter what your previous
balance was as long as we can work out what you started
    with on Dec 1st.

Hope that makes sense Lym. Just let me know if you need
    anything else.

    Hi

I have registered for the challenge. What I want to know is how to determine starting capital before Dec02? I mean I have a Live account that is on-going, I didnt purposely start another Live/Demo account just for this challenge. I can submit the starting capital via screen dump from Interbank Fx as I can access my account details there. Is this acceptable?

  16. John Cole says:

I can’t wait for this month to end Mark so i can submit
my demo account. I love the idea of this challenge.
